How we handle data

We keep none of your data.

A security company should not become another place your data can leak from. Here is how we work.

  • We never look at patient records. Read-only access to settings and systems only.
  • Your files stay in your storage. Your report lives in your own SharePoint, OneDrive, or Google Drive, never in ours.
  • Temporary accounts only. Turned off when we deliver the report.
  • One encrypted laptop, used only for ClinicalSec, wiped after each audit.
  • Signed proof. A Certificate of Data Destruction for every audit.
  • Vetted vendors. Monitoring data lives only with vendors who sign BAAs.

Common questions

If you keep nothing, why sign a BAA?

HIPAA treats anyone with access to systems holding patient data as a business associate, even if they store nothing. So we sign one with every audit client. Keeping nothing is how we keep your risk small.

What if you see patient information by accident?

We stop, make a note, and do not copy it.
